The first edition of PPSD Weeks will welcome visitors at Anna Laudel Istanbul between 24.01 2026 and 22.02.2026

For the first time, Anna Laudel Istanbul opens all four floors of the gallery to the public, presenting four distinct artistic disciplines together: photography, works on paper, sculpture, and digital art.

PPSD, invites viewers to reflect on different modes of expression. Each floor, in sequence, offers a distinct encounter that moves from the tactile to the technological. Bringing together both past and recent works by the participating artists, the exhibition creates a cross-cultural space of dialogue that establishes continuity between perceptions and visions.

The exhibition begins on the entrance floor with a selection of photography. The works in this section approach photography both as an art object and as a conceptual mode of expression. This selection features works by artists including Brigitte Spiegeler, Cansu Yıldıran, and Lennart Brede.

On the first floor, visitors encounter a selection centered on paper as both a surface and a mode of expression. Focusing on the transformation of material into a tool, this floor makes processes of experimentation and research visible through drawings, paintings, and mixed-media works on paper. Bringing together artists and works in diverse styles, the curatorial selection includes Ardan Özmenoğlu, Ruth Biller, and Tuğçe Diri, among others.

The next floor introduces sculpture as a discipline in which form occupies space and invites the viewer to physically experience its dimensions. The weight of materials, scale, and spatial relationships activate the visitor, transforming the act of viewing into a bodily experience. Works by artists including Bilal Hakan Karakaya, Ramazan Can, and Anke Eilergerhard are presented on this floor.

On the final floor of the exhibition, works by Cem Sonel, Ecem Dilan Köse, and Sarp Kerem Yavuz create a space that pushes conventional techniques and disciplines a step further, reinterpreting traditional modes of expression. Here, the artwork is no longer static; instead, it unfolds over time, inviting viewers to interact and reflect on how technology transforms our ways of seeing and producing.

Together, these four encounters form PPSD, a technical and discipline-based field of exploration that examines how artistic expression evolves through different materials and techniques.

The first edition of PPSD Weeks will be open to visitors from 24.01 2026 until 22.02.2026 at Anna Laudel Istanbul.
